The pun is funny. Of course, in classical Greece (except in Sparta, and maybe Crete), the woman would not have been outside of the house unless she was a slave or a prostitute. But then, the proposition probably would have been intra-gender, anyway. (Although I can't speak for Hellenic felines.)
